  • Your original post was simplistic and naive.

    How was it naive?

I need to experience parenthood before I can write something like that?

  • I've never been pregnant, never had an abortion. And you're still in the wrong skunkworks.

Um, where did I say I was right?

  • Can someone abort this retarded thread please?

  • I need to experience parenthood before I can write something like that?

Nope, I that's something you should delay for the foreseeable future.

  • Nope, I that's something you should delay for the foreseeable future.

    Worth repeating.

  • Nope, I that's something you should delay for the foreseeable future.

As I am not fit to be a father in which sense exactly?

  • Dude, I believe you said "blast away" at the end of your original post. That's what we're doing. If you wanted an easy ride, you should've asked for one (not that you would probably have got one, but it's the thought that counts).

I have no idea whether you're fit to be a father. I'm not even sure I am and I have three kids :]

  • What the flying fuck is going on here?!?

  • Stingray to the rescue.

Fuck off everyone. Joe will sort this shit out.

  • sew it up or lop 'em off

    hehehe!

    True, I asked for it.

A lot of my friends have kids, nowadays, but as they are, like I am, turning 35, it is kinda to be expected. And my ex-wife did have abortion when she was young.

Not that it's worth anything, but my friends have told me I'd make a great father. But as the divorce was because I've never wanted kids (for various reasons), one could, of course, argue that I would not be one. But I think the most important thing for a child is to feel wanted. If not, the situation is sour.

This super controversial thread got started after a friend of mine (a father of two) had read of it somewhere. (He wouldn't give me a link, which usually means he has jumped in with gusto).

  • Oh my Christ this is a stupid thread. I think the OP has actually had a really easy time of it.

  • ffs, pop down to Maries Stopes House on Whitfield Street and get a snip. Problem over.

There could've been more swear words, yes.

  • So you think God should have been able to 'abort' Jebus? What sort of a sick Satanic fuck are you? That man died on the cross for all our sins, he died FFS! Nailed up to a bit of wood while everyone just stood around sniggering and eating crisps.

  • just stood around sniggering and eating crisps.

    sounds like fun. mmmmh crisps

  • Where is Tynan when we need him?

  • There are too many mitigating factors that would make such a simplistic law unworkable.
