Could you source a more conventional smaller size seat post and use a metal shim to make up the difference?

Also Decathlon do a seatpost in Peugeot's size, here you go.
tips - either loop a chain round the saddle to the frame to prevent it getting stolen or glue ball bearing in both the clamp on the seat post and the seat clamp.
then you won't need to worry about becoming a victim.

Are you sure inverse shims are compatible with pugs? Thought they didn't work on French bikes.
Edit: You need a 'cale inverse' apparently.

There were 2 of these at the bike jumble at LMNH on Sunday. BlueQuinn and Dammit (not sure who he 'donated' his stuff to at the end, I think his name is Aroogah.)
Hi all,
Minor plea for help:
Had my bike nicely locked up outside the ULU buildings on Malet Street, went for lunch, came back to find my nice Brooks saddle and seatpost missing.
Thieving gits.
Anyway, the problem is that although I can replace the saddle the seatpost is one of the stupidly small Peugeot size ones. There are threads covering the difficulty of getting them but I'm a victim of theft :( so felt I might re-vitalise the search for one.
Any ideas?
Much love.
