• Dude, I believe you said "blast away" at the end of your original post. That's what we're doing. If you wanted an easy ride, you should've asked for one (not that you would probably have got one, but it's the thought that counts).

    True, I asked for it.

    A lot of my friends have kids, nowadays, but as they are, like I am, turning 35, it is kinda to be expected. And my ex-wife did have abortion when she was young.

    Not that it's worth anything, but my friends have told me I'd make a great father. But as the divorce was because I've never wanted kids (for various reasons), one could, of course, argue that I would not be one. But I think the most important thing for a child is to feel wanted. If not, the situation is sour.

    This super controversial thread got started after a friend of mine (a father of two) had read of it somewhere. (He wouldn't give me a link, which usually means he has jumped in with gusto).
