Yeah, in terms of not getting knocked off your bike coz people can see you and not looking like a muppet a regular bike with a decent storage has you beat. I'm not just saying I dont like this particular recumbent, I don't like any of them because IMO they are ugly and stupid.

The same design and build team made the GT40 and the Mondeo?
There is quite a gap (30 years) between the GT40 (which Lola had a big hand in and a Mondeo which they certainly didn't)
Ford is a pretty big company with many special depts. so probably not the best comparison in the world there :-)
Maybe comparing one Colin Chapman design against another might be nearer the mark...
