Update on that incredibly small pump I bought a while ago(https://www.lfgss.com/post1356469-493.html). It fits into those tiny Conti saddle packs that come with a inner and two tyre levers, together with a pack of pre-glued patches and a little hub-nut spanner.
Considering the whole lot weighs next to nothing, and is around 10x6x3 cm. Its a great little emergency pack for my evening/weekend rides.
As for getting to 100PSI. It aint easy, but I got there. I suspect my swearing scared some of the surrounding air into the relative safety of the tyre, more than anything else. The valve screws on securely though, so your hands are more free for battling the air in.
I really happy with it overall. But then I have a more user friendly pump for the commuter and 29er, plus a track pump at home. So I'm not expecting to have to use it too much.
