  • Right. This is my favourite bike, and it's served me really well. However, I can't justify keeping it, as I'm skint, I have stuff to pay for, and this is my least practical bike. This is a sad, sad day...

The frame is a hand-built Dave Harrison LoPro time trial bike with a 700c rear, and a 24" (520) front wheel (from some time around 1988, I believe). HTe tube set
is Reynolds 753R, and the fork blades are 753. It is metallic green, with white lug lines.
The seat tube measures 60cm from centre-to-top, and I think the effective top tube length is about 60cm c-t-c. I'm 6'1"ish, with average proportions. and it fits me perfectly.

In the time I've had this frameset, it's been a lot of things: When I bought it, it was built up with cheap parts, riser bars and gears. I rebuilt it for fixed time-trialing (it's original purpose) and it was an absolute flying machine (my fastest ever 10 mile was on this thing)! I enjoyed riding it so much, I ended up putting clinchers and a comfy saddle on it and using it as my every day commuting bike, and that's what it's been used as five days a week ever since.

It's running a perfect magic gear at 53:16, and it can be run at 53:16 aswell, using a halflink. I find this ratio fine for brakeless riding, but I'm pretty light and have proportionally massive legs.

I don't have a photo of it with it's current parts, but the attached image shows what it looks like when it was being built up for TTing.

It's current spec is as follows:
-Harrison frame in metallic green (small bit of surface rust near BB on drive side chainstay)
    -Harrison fork in metallic green
    -BB aero seat pin (27.2)
    -Campag BB
    -Dura Ace headset
-Campagnolo Daytona crankset with campagnolo 53 tooth chainring.
    -KMC K510 chain
    -16tooth 1/2"x1/8" Sprocket, and lockring
    -Charge bullhorn bars
    -ITM stem
-Miche superfast front hub on araya 24" rim (snowflake pattern)
-Miche(might not be miche, I can't remember, but will check) fixed/free rear hub built 3X onto araya 700c rim
-Brand new (less than 50 miles on it!) Schwalbe marathon 700x25c rear tyre (prefect for commuting, and very puncture resistant)
    -Schwalbe stelvio front tyre
-Brooks B17 saddle (Chopped) in 'Honey'. Only a few weeks old, but fully softened up (still have the box and receipt)
-Brooks bar tape in 'Honey'. (same age as saddle, still have the box!)
-Crank Brother Egg Beater pedals can be included for a small extra cost, otherwise it will come with some plastic flats+straps.

I think that's about it. I can supply a front brake with bar-end lever, if the buyer wants one.
I will get some up-to-date photos asap, but these are the only ones I've got for now.

Looking for £400 including delivery, in person, to London (Or best offer if this is too steep?)
