Track frame ID

Hi,

I'm going to pick up a frame this evening and was just trying to shed some light on it's origin.

It has F.W. Evans stickers & it also has a shield saying C F Evans. The frame number is 5505 & I think it has 'Lightweight' stamped on it.

Here's a pic:

Is it an FW Evans? Has anyone seen anything similar?

Hmmm.... looks like a similar frame but with Nervex lugs, right?

I'm wondering if it could be a Williamson Bros:

hard to say really i think evans had a few frame builders in there knocking out frames over the years. badge, decals and track ends look right. Yours could be older than my old one, accounting for the slacker angles and different seat cluster design

How much do you reckon it's worth? I know it's hard to say but I need to make an offer..

no idea. has it been repainted? i'd probably offer in the region of £130-180
