• I tried the Transmission database, but, I guess, as this has to do w/ a freewheel, the situation is a bit different.

I've a Formula hub with a White freewheel. The cranks are Stronglight ST-2000 and the chainring a Dura-Ace (3/32"). Outspoken says with a 107mm JIS bottom bracket the chainline is 42mm. According to Sheldon Brown, Formula and White give 44,73mm.

I asked around and was told the real-life chainline is 42mm if the chainring is mounted on the inside of the spider.

Not sure what to think of it, but as I've no experience with the above combination, I thought it best to try this forum.

So what would be the right sized bottom bracket for a combination of Formula hubs, White freewheel, Stronglight ST-2000 cranks and a Dura-Ace chainring?

    Thank you.
