The thing I found most annoying about the unrestricted autobahn is there's always someone faster than you. So you're having to move out of the way a lot, but the middle lane seems to be full of people doing the advised speed. So you get in the outside lane, you hit about 140mph when a Porsche doing 150 mph comes up behind you, so you have to drop to about 75mph in the middle lane, then accelerate again, then decelerate, repeat over and over and it ruins your MPG.
