Does a bike go straight to anti-porn when it was put together as a piss-take?
-
• #10483
if it was meant as a piss take, surely going to anti-porn is the desired result?
-
• #10484
I think that could be the best Cinelli mash ever, seriously.
-
• #10485
Of course it's a bloody piss take! How could you possibly think there is the tiniest chance it isn't?!

Because we've all seen worse crimes committed in a spirit of seriousness.

+11. Finally it starts to make some sense.

Needs an 80mm fork, not 100mm, then the top tube would be level.
-
• #10489
WTF?! This is actually good! Maybe a suspension fork is the missing link? Doesn't look wrong at all IMO. Geometry-wise I mean.

I like the Cinelli too. As for all of you saying the person who built it up should be shot etc... How should it be built up then?! It would look fucken shit and boring if it had double discs or low profile silver rims with gumwall tubs, etc. The carbon rims are a nice modern addition and actually compliment the bike quite well. As for the stickers, well... they're stickers... they peel off.
Plus, Volcom make good clothes.
FFS Max, really!!?? Boring because it was built to spec??... It's a LASER, not a Gazetta, or a MASHed. I love all those components separately, but together, and with stickers??.... fuck me sideways.
Plus, I bet that is the frame that was for sale in the Japanese yahoo auctions, posted somewhere in the Forum. I believe the bid was at something like 3k. Add the Corima wheel set/NOS parts/etc... at it aims at over 4k.
Not puppies killed, like MC_Testi said, but definitely bum-raped. -

All I'm saying is it would look like any other old Cinelli whatsit. I like how the one we're talking about has been built up tastefully with a modern twist. I've never seen one with carbon rims before.
I admit, the stickers look a bit wank because, well, they're stickers... on rims.

These LDS Elders are doing their mission obligation in San Jose, California. They arrived about a month ago and put these bikes together since then. They say these bikes have opened a lot of doors for them.

I think the owner of this has finally cracked the conundrum of how to make a cinelli mash look good.

But there are so many of them with those wheels.
