erm NO to salford although its good on the mileage, I'd be up for the Buxton place, it looks amazingly clear and tropical!

im up for blue lagoon, it looks tropical but actually not as nice as it looks on photos and you get really dry when you get out because of the lime:

Lumb Falls for sure! It looks like a scene from Lord of The Rings! ... Rivendell if I remember correctly.

Nes, I'm wondering if I should do this fixed or with gears. I consider myself a strong athlete and would really like to do it fixed but haven't done anything this distance fixed before so advice would be appreciated. It's the long downhills and the not having the super high gears that I'm mostly concerned about ... mostly.
What do you reckon? ... Or is this a totally ridiculous suggestion?
