Sad but true. I arrived home at about 10pm tonight, some guys were coming out of the pub opposite my house. One said to the rest "Hey, have you seen my new bike yet?" He went round the corner then came back two minutes later shouting "Shit, someone's nicked my fucking saddle!" Like the Lycra cover idea though.
Ha, that was us! The Prince in Kynaston Road, right? Yes, my mate's just got a new Condor Pista and had his saddle and seatpost nicked. Rubbish.

Oh no! Yeah The Prince, I live right opposite! When I heard him say "Have you seen my new bike?" I wanted to come over and take a look, but I was tired and all so could not be bothered. That sucks though :( Some bastards will steal anything.

You may remember this post...
Well tonight my worst nightmare came true.
Brook was stolen - railings at bottom of hackney rd where it crosses kingsland rd. (rest of bike OK)
2 years - oh it hurts.
Made worse that the allen bolt had been filled, seat covered with cover and plastic bag! Also saw an other guy who had also had his Brooks stolen in the same area.
If anyone see's it over the weekend at the markets let me know.
I sprayed horrible florescent yellow paint on the underside and it has blue denim stains at pressure points.FUCKERS

Sorry to hear this, but it doesn't surprise me.
I use three locks on my bike, with the long cable lock especially for the Brooks. It's the only lock that has seen any 'action', in that someone has tried to cut it, with a pair of pliers by the looks of it.
Wherever your saddle is now, at least you can take some comfort in knowing that for the time it was with you, it was loved.

sorry to hear that, skully stamps names on the brooks seat to make them unique and hopefully better identified and less valuable/stealable
