I was at a gig earlier this year when the band asked why there were so few women in the crowd. A kiwi in the audience (not me) called out saying it was ok 'cos he, as a kiwi was there. So either you could just get another kiwi or I have to get Canadian citizenship, quickly.

Meh, who cares about token kiwi, Al-Dupcheck fills our foreigner quota, it's females that we lack. People will start to talk if we all hang out in dark corners of parks in the evenings for too long without a female present...
