Sounds great.
I'd get a stroke after five hours.

Lucky you. I'd settle for a back massage.

About eighty riders got a lap in yesterday evening. Two guys did two laps of Nordschleife in 1:30h. I missed the 20:40h cut off for lap two by about ten minutes but the marshall waved me throught. Thank you. Broom wagon picked me up just before Hohe Acht, 21.30h on the spot.
Second lap had the odd spot of rain as well. Ride finished down the Grand Prix course grid.

This is a 25 km, 70 km, 140 km or 24h-Race around the Nurburgring 22.810 km (14.173 mi) 'Green Hell' Nordschleife ("Northern Loop") where Rudi Altig won the bicycle world cup in 1966.
There is a small entrance fee.
All details are available here: http://rad.radamring.de/start.html
Check out the video: Rad am Ring 2008: "on bike" Nordschleife on Vimeo
and the route: http://www.bikemap.net/route/927
The 24h stage race in groups of eight would be my preference.
