slack chain fail

i wouldn't be surprised if it was actually something do with the size of the rear wheel and the momentum/inertia it would carry when going fast damaging the chainset/frame if pedaling was anything but perfect/constant.

i've read in several places that having a chain with no slack in it isn't actually idea for track riding but the first part of my post is very much speculative, lol.
