None of us really think he is. Speculation suggests he just isn't taking things seriously enough when he takes people's money/goods and that he's just being a bit weak... all very easily remedied by coming forward and speaking to those involved to find a solution.

It's just that whilst his coping mechanism for this is to not deal with it and to not talk to people, then because it's happened more than once it really is a problem. All we're trying to do is to highlight to him the severity of his actions... he can still resolve all of this, but without doing so it will get very nasty very quickly for him. To the point that whatever reasons he has for not speaking to people will pale into nothing when the police knock at his door.

It's entirely up to him how to sort it out, he's been named and shamed to hell and back. But... this is LFGSS, we forgive anything once someone says "fair deal, I screwed up... this is how I'm going to get it sorted". So he needn't shit himself, he has an escape route that will earn him some respect if he can man up and take it.

It appears his address is known. Personally, I would print out everything to do with these dodgy transactions and turn up to his address. Hopefully you would get to speak to his father to inform him that you will be going to the police if the matter isn't resolved. Got to be worth a shot, I would think.
