Dibs on the Cinelli Grammo Strada! PM to follow.
-
• #3
is it the plating or the actual weld cracking on the pinocchio?
-
• #4
Just the plating. What it means is that at some point the plating may flake in that welding area. Nothing serious and only noticeable at very close inspection.
PD: Edited original post as I wasn't clear about it. Thanks

All stuff is long time gone. Apoligies for not having closed thread.
Proceed to do so.
Hi,
I have few 1" stems from the early 90s for sale as I need some additional funding for my next bike project. Most of them are relative rare and good quality.
Cinelli Grammo Strada: Tig-welded titanium stem for 1" fork steerer and 26mm road handlebars. Stem length: 120mm. Stem angle: 82º. Feather-light weight at only 140 gr. Single bolt handlebar and steerer clamp. Polished titanium finish. Please note that the steerer clamping area of this stem is longer than usual for other a-head stems. NOS. Still in original box. The stem shown on pics is a shorter, 110mm one I gave to a friend. The one for sale is 120mm. I can also source 130mm, if any one is interested. Price: Sold to bodieandoyle
**3ttt Forged Ahead x 2: **Forged alloy stem for 1 1/8" fork steerer and 25.4mm road handlebars. It comes with a shim for 1" steerer. Stem length: 110mm. Stem angle: 80º. Two bolt front opening and hidden steerer clamp. Weight: 240gr aprox. Metallic grey finishing with engraved lettering at both sides of stem. A particularly sturdy, top-quality road stem with a superb finishing. NOS. Still in original tin box. Price: 35 pounds
**3ttt Pro Titanium 1" Ahead Stem: **Tig welded Titanium stem. Two-bolts front opening. 100mm length. 72º angle. 155grs. From the early 90s. Polished finish with "burnt lettering" effect. Please note: only for 25.4mm handlebars. The clamp would not accept old-style 26.0mm diameter handlebars so the stem can only be used either with modern "anatomic" style road handlebars or with risers. In original box. **Price: 25 pounds.
Look Titanium 1" Ahead Stem: **Tig welded Titanium stem. Welding is much neater than in the 3ttt stem. 100mm length. From the early 90s. There is no info about stem angle but I would say it has a slightly negative angle of around 5º. Raw Titanium finish. No front opening just standard one-bolt clamp. Again, the clamp is designed for 25.4mm handlebars but due to different clamp system than the 3ttt above, I think it may be possible to fit a 26.0mm handlebar. Can check if anyone is interest in running that set-up. Feather weight at only 130grs. A truly gorgeous stem. The box shown on picture is not included. **Price: Sold to jambon.
Cinelli Pinocchio 1" Quill Stem: **Tig welded Columbus Steel. 110 mm length. 73º angle. For 26.4mm handlebars. With the bolt clamp fully tightened, it gives an internal clamp diameter of 26.0mm so it might be possible to fit a 26.0mm handlebar without having to use a shim. Standard one-bolt clamp. 260 grs. Red anodized cap only for decorative purposes: you have to unscrew it to access the actual quill bolt. In original box. Please note plating on these stems is relatively weak, especially along the welding areas. There is some really minor cracking of the chrome in one of the welds, hence low price. Price: Sold to giles337
