I saw a fixie wixie couple riding up past Tottenham marshes just the other day, matching red and blue lo-pros, courier bags and incredibly slow....how romantic.
It's a great weekday ride, have used it frequently in the winter for training on mountain bike, a good fifty miles there and back, there's no red lights, few walkers at that time of year and on a weekday usually don't have to stop at all, unless you want too....
Also leave a crayfish trap on the way out, pick it up two hours later on the way back...free crustaceans for dinner!
