    EDDY MECKX ROAD FRAME 1981
    Seat Tube (ctc): 59cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 58.5cm
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
    Frame Tubing: Columbus SL
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Early Eddy Merckx frames made in his own Belgian factory are really not very common. In 1979, after retirement Eddy Merckx set up his Belgian factory with the help of Ugo De Rosa - the very first frames were almost certainly built by De Rosa. This one is a little later and I think from 1981. It has the cast lugs and BB shell that was used by Merckx and De Rosa until the mid 1980s and the early style flat fork crown with Eddy engraved one side and Merckx the other. The flat fork crown was later resurrected in the early 90s for some of the top frames... Gear cable routing is over the bottom bracket. The frame number E602 is close to a Merckx I have that was bought new in 1981. This frame is very sound; it has one small easily filled dent to the side of the TT and an even smaller dent to the chainstay which is easily equally filled. I have checked the frame’s tracking and it is perfectly in line so it is ready to be restored to its former glory. The long horizontal dropouts mean that it will make an easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £125 SOLD

    ROTRAX SUPERCOURSE ROAD FRAME 1953
    Seat Tube (ctt): 23.5in (59cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 23.5in (59cm)
    Rear dropout width: 115mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C (brake drop 64mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Rotrax from Southampton built some really stunning frames in the 1950s - I personally think the Supercourse model was rather more attractive than the Concours (which was their top model). This frame is in very sound condition but does really need repainting. Once completed it will look really stunning. £175

SHOGUM COMP ROAD FRAME 61cm c1995
Seat Tube: 58cm (centre to top of seat tube) 54.5cm (ctc)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: 7005 Aluminium alloy
    Bottom Bracket Threads: English
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is an extremely nice mid 1990s aluminium frame which has hardly been used. It is very light and is in very good condition with just a few marks to the paint. A bargain at £85

    RALEIGH CLUBMAN ROAD FRAME 1983
    Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (23.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)

Wheel size: 27s or 700C (58mm brake drop)
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted main tubes
This Raleigh Clubman road frame was built in 1983 and was designed as the name suggests as a multi-purpose frame - as such it will make a very good commuter bike with room for mudgards with 700C wheels. And could easily be run as a fixed or singlespeed. £85

TOWNSEND EASY TRAIL HYBRID FRAME Reynolds 531
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)

This 1980s hybrid frame built from Reynolds 531 ATB tubing will make an ideal tough commuter bike running on 700C wheels with cantilever or V-brakes. The paint is in very useable condition and the whole frame is in very good condition. £55

    SALVI ROAD FRAME 1970s
    Seat Tube (ctc) : 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 57mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Italian I think

This Italian made road frame from the 1970s will make an ideal budget conversion. Its in sound condition but is ideal candidate for a powder coat. £33

    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 50mm)
    Seatpost size: 25.4mm
This frame despite the transfers is a Raleigh Record from the 1980s – it will make an ideal conversion and is in very sound condition. The right hand dropout is easily filed out to match the left hand one... £35 SOLD

UNKNOWN MAKER 1950s ROAD FRAME Fancy Lugs
    Seat Tube (ctt) : 58cm (23in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm

    Bottom bracket threads: British
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This is an extremely nicely made road frame from the early 1950s with very well defined and cleanly cut fancy lugs. I do not know the maker - it has characteristics of both Holdsworth and Rotrax but I don’t think the frame number fits (9628) really fits either... Its in very sound condition. Please note that the headset is not included. £75

    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
The Claud Butler Majestic touring frames built with Reynolds 531 tubing from the 1980s are really rather classic - this one is in very good condition with original paint and decals and rear carrier. £85
