The canal will be fine for lazy rides home, but as I'm habitually late I'm assuming the road is a better bet for the way in.
Have plotted Pete and Jeez's routes on Googlemaps and will give them both a go over the next few days as a starting point.
Riding in tomorrow, and ignoring the advise I'd always give of trying the route before hand so fingers crossed!
