Spring is kind of here, so it's time to get out of the city. So what I am proposing is a regular midweek escape out of town 20 or 30 miles for a 12 hour adventure. Tents, camp fires, ghost stories and half warmed baked beans on highly dangerous gas stoves.
So, the caper would begin at Fullcity round about 6pm, coffee and light out for the open road through the charming rush hour city traffic in whatever direction. Ride to one of a number of identified campsites in the sticks and set up camp.
Early the next morning, shower, pack up and either ride back (of course) or take the train (for the softies).

First one: 19th May to Basingstoke Canal Centre, Mytchett Place Road, Mytchett, Surrey. GU16 6DD. Other identified trips are Sevenoaks, Lewes, East Grinstead, Maldon and Canvey Island. Any other ideas?
It's 35 miles, so should only take a couple of hours. So, who up?
