[bike set-up police]
tap that seat back an inch or two.
get normal grips, lengthen your cable and housing, and slide the lever out to where it should be.
there's no need to be original about these kinds of things.
[/bike set-up police]
what are you, the bike set-up police?
I just thought the bike must be used for TT'ing with the saddle that far forward on a seat post with no setback and the aero bars were in the post.

The saddle has only just gone on, so there are still some fine tweaks... but prolly not 2" as the rail markings are only 3cm... I know convention dictates a shorter stem > fwd seat, but I've got used to sitting more over the cranks and quite like it.
Not sure what you mean about the lever position?

Here is how my Scissor looks now that I have given up pretending to be a trickster and set up for faster road/off road rides. The Whisk fork is good is anyone needs a fork that takes big tyres as I have a 35c in there with room to spare.

HEDIT- whats the chainline?
Never actually measured it but it must be around 42 as it gives a straight chainline. That is with the ring on the inside though.
Just done a eye/ruler measurement and it is around 41. Had to count the teeth after thinking I had a 32t ring on there and it is a 34t (34 is low enough but 32 would have been in 58GI)

I remember them from the 90s. never really took off, weren't all that strong, and were heavier than most alu rims, if I remember correctly.

just picked this up complete for around £250. very happy with it but i'll be changing the stem/bars, the seatpost, the saddle and maybe the forks.
Nice one. These are the best frames ever.

@Borntoolate. Your Claud is bonkers. In a good way.
Agreed, absolutely love it! Well done.

it's a shame that it didn't have the original forks though. i'm on the look for some low rake, straight forks now.
