get normal grips, lengthen your cable and housing, and slide the lever out to where it should be.

there's no need to be original about these kinds of things.

The saddle has only just gone on, so there are still some fine tweaks... but prolly not 2" as the rail markings are only 3cm... I know convention dictates a shorter stem > fwd seat, but I've got used to sitting more over the cranks and quite like it.

Not sure what you mean about the lever position?
