its a saddle.
It's an old saddle that's still in production for a reason.
Saddles are very personal choices, try one, if you don't like it bad luck.
£44.99 in the grander scale of things isn't that much.
I suggest you don't bother and spend the money on a course on decipherable English.

I was wondering if any one has had any experience with this saddle wot do people think worth 44.99 looks nice and from what ive heard its confortable but 44.99 quite a lot of money to part with so what do the experts think ?

I had one and thought it was the worst thing in the world ever!..Prefer Turbos and flites.
Go to Evans and use their Specialized arse measurer thing, find out what width your sit bones are and then make sure any saddle you buy roughly fits. I think the common sizes go up in increments of - 235, 145 and 155mm...ish
ps under £50 isn't that expensive for a new saddle - 2nd hand ftw.

I think a lot of people find Rolls comfortable as they are a good shape with a good density of padding.
But to me they just look bloody awful with all those gold fittings (if that matters to you - it does to me)

you be knocking my gold?
You can buy them with all the gold fittings in silver at the same cost so not a problem.
I have one, find it comfortable, the two things it does not have are a cut out at the back for your tail, or a big hole at the front. So if you have a big tail or a sensitive cock and you are used to very modern saddles then it may not be for you. If not you may find it comfortable. It is a biggish saddle so if you are going to be down on the drops and have a narrow bum it might be a good idea to look for something narrower.
The only way to know is to try - I do not have your bum.
Oh and if you get a white one expect it to turn blue, or whatever colour of jeans rock your world

If it's black...would you care to part with it?
Does anyone know how a San Marco supercorsa holds up to wet weather, presumably if its not bagged it will get knackered? Are there any other similar saddles, but not leather/suede covered?

Iv gotten mine wet a few times (left it locked up in the rain for couple hours so was toally soaked through, rain came on mid ride and i carried on riding, saddle was wet at back and damp all over etc) If it gets wet i bring it into the house n sit it on the radiator to dry out then when it's dry i give it a rub with a towel to raise the pile back up again.
Mine is now looking pretty polished in places - i like it better like this, looks worn in, like an old pair of jeans - and i think the wetting/drying process maybe stretched/tightened up the suede because it started to come unattached at the back but a bit of hot melt glue sorted that out.
There's probably a better way to dry the saddle out if it gets wet that would have stopped the cover removing itself at the back but if you were worried that one shower of rain n it'd be a goner then now you know differently.
I was wondering if any one has had any experience with this saddle wot do people think worth 44.99 looks nice and from what ive heard its confortable but 44.99 quite a lot of money to part with so what do the experts thin?
