that 'angry' woman who didn't get to vote is annoying me. I'm glad she didn't get to exercise her democratic rights.

The editing is slowly making her sound more angry and extreme. Tabloid reporting

I say she didn't exercise her democratic rights - she's had her freespeech splashed all over the beeb for the past 3 hours. She forfeits her voting rights.

Did Scarfe rip off Ralph Steadman or vice-versa? Or were they concurrent?

Dunno ?
Same era, probably influenced by each others success ? (born the same year, within two weeks of each other / 1936)
Wiki: In the mid 1960s he (Steadman) took a job at the Daily Mail following a Dutch auction for his services with the Daily Express. His decision to work for the Daily Mail led to his estrangement from fellow cartoonist Ralph Steadman, alongside whom he had studied art at East Ham Technical College. Soon after, Steadman was commissioned to illustrate Scarfe and produced an image that was half saint and half Superman, but with a disconnected heart. . . . .
Basically, they have a shared history . . .
