  • Depends on the shelter - I got mine from Celia Hammond at Lewisham and they just came round to make sure our house wasn't made of dogs or anything. They told us we'd have to block off the fireplace until they were older (they were right) and though we had a garden we didn't have a catflap but they said that wasn't a problem.

    If you get little feral ones they'll probably give you a pen until they've calmed down a bit. (getting little feral ones is brilliant, especially when they purr for the first time)
