+1 I have not watched it recently but rememeber Milla being the perfect female she was supposed to be playing. I also have a penchant for french soundtrack composers. Although a bit dated, I love the naivety, just like the Betty Blue (37.2 le matin) soundtrack. The alien that sang the opera piece was the composer's wife btw!

One of the best films i've seen. I know that sounds like an overreaction but everything in that film was spot on. The plot was clichéd but still very good, the characters were brilliant, the music was amazing and to this day, the special effects still look awesome.

Good to know that other people feel the same way. I love a lot of Luc Besson films.

Same, i've seen all his stuff as recently as Angel-A except for The Big Blue, which I really, really need to see. None of his films have been less than amazing.
