What a weekend. Bit damp but had a blast despite the anti-social weather gods. The camping crew rocked out and it was great to see all the familiar faces and meet some new ones.
Highlights:
-First night of camping with the anticipation of Sunday's epicness
-Running into various familar faces at all points of the ride
-Riding with, Joe Smith, KattieP, Matt, Moth, M.F., Arducius, Hamsandwich, Pifko, Dogsballs, Helen, No.8, John and anyone I've missed off the list
-Eating Roadies on the hills
-The leg between Yarmouth and East Cowes after stuffing myself with multiple cakes and rolls. I must have been taking it easy for the first half 'cos I felt quite strong on this leg. M.F., Arducius, Matt, Pifko and myself set a good fast pace.
-Beers at East Cowes with the happy campers and the posh B&Bers
-Carvery and gallons of beer at the sloop to top off a brilliant day.
-Pub quiz with worst answer sheet ever.
-Jack coming up with possibly the best pub quiz team name ever: Quiz on my face
