U.S Transport Secretary announces "Sea Change" for transport

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Friday that Americans are “tired” of the congestion caused by motorized transportation, and instead are looking for other options such as bicycle lanes and walking paths, which the government will add to its infrastructure.

I have an Electric bike here in Toronto. goes about 20mph and I can get about 40k out of a charge. I can get anywhere in the city faster than a car.

Cool, I got a Pedal Bike here in New York. It gets up to about 25mph and get's about 10-15 miles off of a bagel and a glass of water. I can get anywhere in the city faster than a car.

TWO CARS?! bloody americans. I regularly walk past streets in london that I would have to sidle down sideways. Two bloody cars. The M fucking 1 can only fit 2 bloody cars on it for most of it.
