I have an Electric bike here in Toronto. goes about 20mph and I can get about 40k out of a charge. I can get anywhere in the city faster than a car.moomintrolled
Cool, I got a Pedal Bike here in New York. It gets up to about 25mph and get's about 10-15 miles off of a bagel and a glass of water. I can get anywhere in the city faster than a car.moomintrolled
You know, I still haven't decided if I meant to sound like a dick or not, but I know I do, so I apologize. But not enough to change my comment!brazilliandanny

"Boston is a city that was laid out over 100s of years and has many small streets that can barely fit two cars. If we really want to move biking to the forefront of city transportation, we have to come up with more creative solutions than just shouting 'ADD BIKE LANES!!!!' because that isn't going to work here"
TWO CARS?! bloody americans. I regularly walk past streets in london that I would have to sidle down sideways. Two bloody cars. The M fucking 1 can only fit 2 bloody cars on it for most of it.
