Hey my mate wants to sell his old racer (i think he found it in his garage) it looks like it was made in the 50's? i think its steel and would make a perfect conversion to ss. my mate was in the process of making it ss and has shortened the chain and taken the rear brake cable and gear cable off. with purchase i will include rest of chain, gear cable and outer cable, and rear brake cable (inner and outer.)
this bike has a very old but very comfortable brooks b17 with the old oval logo and a very unique seatpost, i love this seat and i've only just rode this bike home from my mates. the frame size is (from the top of the bottom bracket to the seat post opening) 51cm and the headtube is 126mm.
i am based in Cambridge and would prefer local pickup but will post, not sure how much it will cost. if you are interested i will go to post office and ask.
i am asking £55 for this bike, a bargain i know. :P
