Again I don't disagree with you. I have a carbon bike and I find it extremely comfortable, stiff and light, but in comparison, all the carbon bikes I've ridden have been eclipsed by SOME of the ti bikes I've ridden. Often the differences are very slight and often the carbon is a nicer bike to ride.
But I think when comparing the top builders, the ti bikes do come out on top (for me).
Like almost all matters of bike componentry, it really does come down to personal preference.
Some people like softness, others, an unforgivingly harsh ride for maximum stiffness.
