Hi Mark, I got a VN Yukon last year and absolutely love it.
I wanted an Audax as opposed to full race frame as I wanted a bike for light touring and winter training. I put it together with Ultegra 6700 kit and it's pretty light and quick.
Having gone from Aluminium to Ti the difference in comfort and handling is amazing, though the Alu bike was stiff and responsive it skittered on bumpy descents where the VN floats over the rough stuff making it feel more planted. I'd say comfort was the overwhelming advantage, as others have frequently said, though it has always felt nicely stiff when when putting the power down. Particularly on long rides I find I'm simply less tired as the hours go on as the bike is taking less out of me and I'm taking more out of my mates:-)
It will take a reasonable load on the back (if that's important to you) though once over 12kgs it starts to whip a bit and I found a bar bag helps the handling.
I bought the VN from FatBirds on offer for £899.
Sabbath were the only other frame in my price range and I simply preferred the VN looks, as far as I can tell they're very similar bikes for similar money.
I think Hippy has a point, I knew I wanted Ti and VN and Sabbath were the obvious choices without dropping shedloads of cash so I picked one and bought it. It's fantastic, job done:-)
