Bike porn

I raced on a disc equipped cross bike last season. Most cross races are not UCI sanctioned and it's only National Trophy level races in the UK which are so for the vast majority of cross races discs are permitted.

My dad's never been Arkansas cyclocross champion though so what do I know?

Most of the road cycling 'events' I've attended, have been full of folk on MTB's. As long as things look safe, its 'ride what you got'.

That was kind of my point. People willing to pay >£800 for a hub would probably spring for an extra £300 for a decent drop bar shifter.
