  • After years of resitance my wife has finally succumbed and purchased a bicycle,a Viva Juliet, as a stereotypically girly girl she is dissappointed at the lack of colour ornametation etc on D locks does anyone know if there are any covers for dlocks that may be purchased that might otherwise enhance this mundane item.

  • don't know of any covers but here are some coloured locks!

  • Google Lock Holsters

Unsure if the look makes it any more attractive to your missus though.

  • suprise suprise she likes the pink one
    thans for the help

  • If you mean the Palmy locks, you and your missus would both regret the purchase. Its a fashion item, NOT a security item.

  • Get mini evo + any BMX style grip of your choice, cut off the orange rubber and replace with the grip. Sorted.

  • yes it was the palmy lock fotunately we live in a relatively low crime area and the bike would only be out for a short time outside shops etc but thanks for the advice anyway

  • sorry i never checked if they where any good! just knew they made diff cols.

  • I've made my own but for non pain chipping purposes. Will dig out a picture.

They are thin lightweight aluminium. You could cut through them with a bread knife, or break them with the tiniest amount of force. Not real locks.

Betty on this forum crocheted a lovely wollen cover for her lock. PM her and maybe she'll do one for you.
