If you mean the Palmy locks, you and your missus would both regret the purchase. Its a fashion item, NOT a security item.

Get mini evo + any BMX style grip of your choice, cut off the orange rubber and replace with the grip. Sorted.

yes it was the palmy lock fotunately we live in a relatively low crime area and the bike would only be out for a short time outside shops etc but thanks for the advice anyway

They are thin lightweight aluminium. You could cut through them with a bread knife, or break them with the tiniest amount of force. Not real locks.
Betty on this forum crocheted a lovely wollen cover for her lock. PM her and maybe she'll do one for you.
After years of resitance my wife has finally succumbed and purchased a bicycle,a Viva Juliet, as a stereotypically girly girl she is dissappointed at the lack of colour ornametation etc on D locks does anyone know if there are any covers for dlocks that may be purchased that might otherwise enhance this mundane item.
