Robin, a quick look at Google Earth suggests there is a cycle lane on the A41 by the approach to Junction 4 of the M1.
It did not prevent this tragedy.
(I will not speculate if Zoe used this or whether the cycle lane's position was problematic.)

Another cyclist killed. These threads are always upsetting. Hopefully there is a safer future for us all.

So so sad. I cant understand how this can carry on. These are major roads with no provision for cyclists. Another young life taken away because the road system is built for motorised vehicles only.
I asked before but if somebody can please point me towards any existing petitions or lists of relevant places to send letters I would be very grateful. If not, some help with writing a statement for a petition would be really appriciated.
It would be fantastic If everyone on this forum signed a petition and got friends and family to sign aswell.
