When I said new chainset, I meant including a new BB. In fact, I may get one of the these new Campag UT external bearing chainsets.
I was uncertain if a new chainset, made for current 10 or 11 speed groupsets would still work with a older 8 speed block.
Actually, the chain and sprockets are relatively new, having replaced them last year. I find 8 speed is enough and don't want to go to the trouble of changing the rear hub as well.
