  • I need to clear my shed out and raise some funds for my new mtb. I'll be adding more bits next week. Any questions just PM me.

    Raleigh Mini Mag Burner
I bought this off the forum a few months ago, it was a bit of a gamble which didn't pay off. The description of it was pretty crap and I thought it was the full sized 20" wheel version. This is the childrens model with 12" wheels, it's in pretty good condition and has cool oval tubing. It all seems to be working ok (although I haven't ridden it so can't say for definite). I've cleaned it all up and given it a bit of a lube. Needs a new rear tube and then should be rideable. A pretty cool bike which will no doubt make someone's child very happy (and totally radical).

    Measurements:
    tt 39cm
    st 28cm
max saddle extension (from bb) 44cm
    stand over height 48cm

Want what I paid £50 (good price for this bike but would have been amazing if it was the 20" version)
    Now £40 (or trades)

I'm located in Uxbridge and these are both collection only, available for collection/viewing any day any time.

  • maxcrowe size ^

  • If you change your mind about posting the burner let me know, might be just the ticket for my little girl's first bike.

  • I will post if there isn't any interest in the next week but this will be at your cost and since it's no lightweight it won't be cheap.

The box which I got it in had £22 worth of postage on it which is a fair chunk on top of £50.

  • Did you really buy a BMX thinking it was adult size and then have a childs one turn up on your doorstep?

    Thats pretty funny.

  • I was half suspecting it but the price was good and the photo was shit. It wasn't a total surprise and I thought it was worth the risk.

  • Hey ed, might be interested in kids bike depending on size... Any chance I can have at look at it to size it up? Either at wests or I can come down to uxbridge?

Remind mr and we can talk about it tomorrow?
(btw, I prob won't re check this thread so pm is prob the best way to reply)

  • haha where was that kids bike when I was young

  • the raliegh would make a brilliant TT bike

  • £80 for a polo player
    £90 non polo people
how much for a polo hater:)??

  • £10000000000000000000000

  • so very tempted by the polo bike as mine is completely fucked! but as the story always seem to be im broke!

  • It's pretty damn cheap, I can throw in an extra spare wheel and some (pretty dead but just usable) rear tyres too if it helps. Sell a few bits so you can afford it? With summer only just round the corner the polo court will be the place to be.

  • how much if you buy this in order to play polo?

  • £80, but please do play polo on it rather than just saying you will to knock a cheeky tenner off.

  • pretty sound. unfortunately i'm not in the market for polo, or a polo bike at the moment. would love to be at some stage though. it's nice to see some financial encouragement!

  • I want the polo bike! And I want it for polo! dibs + have PMed

  • PMd

  • Polo bike sold pending payment

    Raleigh is still for sale

I call you out for posting a highly misleading ad description. Even hippy was fooled! Max' saddle extension would be much more on this bike, as he is very tall.

  • price drop

  • bump! Burner is still for sale.

I'm at my parents house (where the bike is living at the moment) until Thursday, if anyone wants it I can drag it up on the train with me next week.

  • its just JD's size
