Cheers Rik, Happy birthday. I'm Sammy - was on the black FBM Sword. Have given the straps a quick go. Felt pretty weird compared to being clipped in, but i'll persevere for a bit. Have people been takin the pins out of the pedals when using these, i can;t seem to get my foot far enough in.

slack the straps a bit, the feet need to go in and out easily
also, you need to wear out a bit the straps, right now they will feels very stiff, a good rain will help

Regarding pins, I have taken out 50% of the pins in my Wahwah's. I run the strap as tight as possible at the point I like my foot to be.
For polo etc I want my foot to feel like it's bound to the pedal and not to come out unless I really want it to. I'd imagine freestyle is the same.

Do em up tight and you will get used to it.

picked up a pair of straps yesterday, great bit of kit. I was planning on making my own but a lack of time and knowledge that they'd be a pit pants lead me to just buy some. These are great, really well made and easy to use, need to take a few pins out now.
