Vans Era 45 CA Fixed - Broken - Opinions?

To their credit, I've been wearing a pair of half cabs for over 3 years now, awesome, awesome shoe, been using it for skateboarding and cycling, probably 5 days a week.

How the fuck have skate shoes lasted you 3 years?!? I must be doing something wrong.

I used to go through shoes (yes I've gone through about 5 pairs of Half Cabs) every couple of months. I skated 5-7 days a week every day for 8 years.
