  • Two chaps sittin outside Monmouth this morning- one wearing a Rapha hat, the other with a copy of Fixed on the bench next to him.

I did not see any bikes nearby that looked like they belonged to them however.

as lance said it's not about the bike.

just wearing the right threads, reading the trendiest mags and drinking in the right places is good enough.

  • To be fair their bikes may have been over the road, behind a van.

  • Saw the smallest bike in the world being ridden by Spybot yesterday afternoon! Good to see you mate! Am i seeing you on the Guinness Ride?

Jesus, Iain... Spybot's bike isn't that small!?!

  • A slightly embarrassing spot for me – I was at the lights in Stockwell yesterday, ‘accidentally’ bumping into the back wheel of some twunty motorbiker who kept on insisting on being right at the front of the ASL box, and just as he was chiding me for hitting his rear wheel for the third time, I turned round and saw Wiesa on her way to HH. Hope the racing was good!

  • BTW. Just sit in front of any vehicle that is not a bike which stops in a ASL

  • Oh I know, and I usually do. I was just having fun crashing into him at every set of lights, with an "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, but do you mind moving out of the way as you shouldn't be here?" comment said with a beautific and charming smile.

  • +1

  • Spotted: The Great Raymondo at Borough, looking all smart like he was going on a date.

Spotted: Me, on the tarmac, at New Cross. Just tangled with fluff's wheel, us trying to turn right across the road, where no car thinks we should be, despite there being a cycle route there.

The cabbie behind was actually quite civil and asked me if I'm all right. I was. My bartape's fucked though.

I know, its just fun teasing him about it. Good lad that.

  • 'Slain heading West in the sun on Old St yesterday after work.

  • You shoulda said hi! Was on my way to meet two Rotten Apples and a Beard at The Lamb...

    Hope you're alright dude.

Actually that's a stupid question, you have said you're alright.

  • You shoulda said hi! Was on my way to meet two Rotten Apples and a Beard at The Lamb...

I was at the Lamb last week, and saw someone who was in my graduating year at Camberwell, having a pint with the dude who I've seen out riding with LFGSS, slim black dude with a little mohawk. Small world. El Squire will probably know who I mean.

aha! so that's where you got to. i heard you were coming to polo, then you didn't show, then tttd said you weren't at home. i was worried, so i checked the forum, and you were online so i knew you iz alive.

  • The lamb is my after work local, I'm shocked I haven't seen any of you guys there before

haha... I have another drinks session on friday, I may be able to get away early. O'neils would probably have to be my entry point...

But I am a true Guiness weakling. That stuff simply floors me. My bike may be small, but my gut is smaller.

  • AHHH i hate the god damn commute home people including the people riding fixed so rude pushy and impolite im not used to riding at 5 30 down clerkenwell but people need to learn some basic rules of cycling! so:

spotted a bunch of wankers on all sorts of bikes from old street to regent street

one well behaved guy on a black stratton track frame. weird geometery or weird setup

and sorry to the guy i accidently cut up coming out of pitfield st i looked but you must have been in my blind spot. you yelled at me i probs deserved it.
ha! only just saw this, my mum would be proud, can't remember when that was though.

spotted a walkenger crispin glover on clerkenwell rd yesterday around 6pm

    Gwynn was with you then?

  • no, while you've been away he's been to the dentist.

  • my roomate in nashville looked like him.

oh no! Fluff was telling me last night that she was looking forward to riding in with you - what happened?

  • spotted skully looking like a dragon fly on his way home last night.

  • That idiot in Brixton whom gets off and runs his bike through lights was pissing me off this morning. I thought he just ran it through ped crossings, but no. Today coming down brix hill he jumped off at the double lights near the fridge, ran his bike past a cop car, then jumped back on in the flow of traffic coming round the corner. Absolute wally. What the fark is he thinking/doing?
