Last game week I gained 42 points, 34 of which came from Tevez. how I wish he was still at utd.

put Tevez in my team last Friday cos Bent was injured or not playing or whatever. just regret not making him my captain. but Rooney has done me well as captain so can't complain.

at least the yule tide period brought me into the top half of the table. i am all about winning the Fantasy Cup now !

Just as an update here for those of you who put in £5, I've had a look at my sheets and I can only confirm we have £100 total in the kitty.

As was decided earlier on, this will be split down to give £40 for 1st place, £25 for 2nd, £15 for 3rd and £20 going back as a donation to the forum.

Interestingly enough, there are only 4 people in the top 15 of the league (and none of the top 3) that paid £5 so not all is lost..

Currently in the money we have:
Mexican Sunday - Hamatt in 6th with 2019
Wilson Athletic - Me in 8th with 2001
Yourbikeizsheet - Fatboyralph in 9th with 1982

Durka Durka - Ian (not sure of forum name, but a friend of Jonny) is not a million miles away in 13th with 1904.

JimmyPiercy with Strobelight FC and Jonny with Widowmaker are chasing the pack (19th with 1859 & 21st with 1843 respectively) but the required points deficit might be beyond them..

Anyway, only a couple of gameweeks to go, it's still all to play for!

I said that I would enter the money league but deserve to be birched as I did not pay any money - so I will count myself out of the running.

As said above it really is all to play for as this week will be huge! Note that there are several teams that have 2 games so a great opportunity to get some extra points!

Also the transfer process does allow one wildcard action with unlimited changes so that should be used before the end of the season rather than sacrificing extra points if transferring several players.

Not sure if this is something that everyone is aware of and do not want to sound like a know-it-all - just keen to be enthusiastic and hope that everyone has enjoyed the fantasy footy!

Right, the dust is still settling but I'm pretty sure we know who is off to fantasy Europe and who will need fantasy parachute payments for next season..

I've donated the £20 on behalf of all of those that chipped in so thanks for that from the server beer fund I guess.

I'll be getting in contact with the lucky people who put their £5 where their mouths were and came away in the money tomorrow and sorting out transfer of funds.

as usual work took over my life and I neglected my team - what a sham. Must try harder next year.
