Preston Park Track League

That wasn't so bad! I was expecting much worse. Waiting for the results, but i think Harvey and myself didnt do too badly.
Apart from missing the dash. By the time we realised we should have been up there, they were just setting off.

I fully recommend it to anyone looking to get started in some racing. It is deffinatly as friendly a they make out.

I was hoping to come up today but I've got a work meeting.

Andy was saying last week that I might be able to borrow one of the Fuji track bikes, my bike is a bit roadworthy atm, brakes and everything!!

shame it's still too damn cold to run any proper endurance events, good to practice sprint events i suppose, frustrating i'm rubbish at them - need at least 8 laps to make an impact...

Get there early and yes, they have loaners. There aren't many and they will be popular.

hey guys, gearing for preston park is ideally between 84"-90" so thats 44x14/47x15 up to 47x14/50x15 any bigger and you will really struggle to react to the speed variation in the bunch, we are running training sessions Friday night as mentioned above start at 5.30 for beginers then the more advanced session starts at 6.30. Would be great to see you all there as I am coaching tonights session

I was hoping to be able to come to some of the sessions. Unfortunately the shop doesn't close til 7.
We have had a number of people pick up your cards btw.
I may try and organize a one to one session with you if i can find the time.
