the pound shop in dalston sells a puncture repair kit that is about twice the size of a normal one that also comes with some rudimentary-but-useful tools.

One Pound?

I bought a pound shop puncture repair kit once. It had 2 dumbell spanners which both snapped when I tried to use them on the wheelnuts. Then one of the tyre levers snapped when I tried to lever my tyre off.

i'm sure the jelly that tool kit is made of is quite strong
prolly last a few years
buy park or good quality kit and it'll last you a lifetime

Lidl are having various bike bits in from this Thursday

I bought this tool kit about 4 years ago I guess. All still going good except for the chain tool one which the tip was flimsy and fell off.

The lockring tool is a bit useless for anything other than a headset.

I've had one for about six years. Over the years I've killed a few of the tools but mostly they have done the job a lot of times before I've broken them on something that would probably have broken something else anyway.

The spoke tool has never rounded a nipple that wasn't of shit quality in the first place and still sits in my tool bag where it has been useful for many years.

The whole thing has definitely been worth more than I paid for it.
