get to station with time to sort out tickets and be ready to board train as soon as number goes up on board.
remember spare batteries and tubes etc. have good lights not your normal inner city shit. Always good to remember to listen for 'car back' shouts and to move to single file when we are riding with big numbers. don't make it difficult for cars to pass.
scarlett will be leading this one so don't be racing off in front and stretching the pack. follow his lead and if you are struggling or need to stop for any reason then let us know an d we can deal with it no problem style.

but do please get to potters bar on time - the second train gets in at 20:21. but many riding out and the first train lot will all have been waiting a little while by then and be keen to set off.

do allow time for the odd puncture and the sweaty sweary traffic of norf landan

@ whoever - don't turn up at the station if your name aint on the list. it's better to put your name on the list and not turn up. Rocket science degrees will be handed out at station

Plan for tonight is a 14-15mph avg. Slower than the reccies. Leisurely. The aim is to keep the group together, as it's a new route, and there are a few TNRC virgins in attendance.

If you're feeling frisky, best save it for riding back into town from Potters Bar. If anyone goes off the front, zero effort will be made to call them back/find them. Sorry, in the sense of not being at all sorry.

Perhaps whoever gets to the station 1st and 5th could get the groupsaves in? Have your fivers at the ready.

PS. If you're feeling cooked, please try not to dangle off the back. Instead, make a big effort to move up to mid-bunch, or failing that, shout (no mumbling) that you're fucked to the person ahead of you. They can then relay the message to the person in front of them, and so on, until the people at the front hear about it, and slow down or whatever.

We'll also assign a back-stop - perhaps one of the reccy crew? purple? clint? shoot? random word?

I can ride backstop, it means I will not need my diffuser though, never mind...

meet at hyde park corner end of hyde park. at 6. leave at 6.30. that gives us nearly 2 hours to get through everything.
i will probably have eaten and will be eating a snack and hydrations.

hi all - my front light is flat - it is a hope vision 2 and i cant find the charger plug anywhere
if anyone has a spare battery or a spare good front light would REALLLLY appreciate the loan.
otherwise i head home when it gets dark. boooo
