Cor, this all sounds jolly tempting. I would like to join in, if I may.
I just did Cambridge on the weekend (geared), which I found pleasantly straightforward. Undulating is fun. I thought to myself as I peddled that it would be jolly spiffy to try the route fixed, and blow me down if I didn't just find a suitable forum thread for the trip.
So, assuming that I'm allowed, and that nothing else appears on the cards, I would like to join in for bits 2, 3, & 4. Especially bit number 3.
