  • I saw it yesterday,I can assure you thats a beautiful frame with a great paintjob :)

  • Price drop... I put it too high!!
    Sorry...

  • when you got this powdercoated in armourtex how did you add the chrome and lacquer afterwards. Looks like a really good job and i am having this project going http://www.lfgss.com/thread41707.html#post1341817
    could do with your advice

  • hi andy, i don't think it is a de rosa, apart from the hearts there is nothing typical de rosa about it. The hearts alone are not an indicator, for example i have a an english barry chick frame that has hearts cut out of the lugs. post the frame number that should help. nice frame tough

  • undibs

  • Photos of Crank-set coming this lunchtime!

    • 1 i didnt think armortex could mask the chrome?
  • This was a test for them... It turned out well :)

I'm sure they will do it as part of their services?!

They mask it out rather well. They did my road frame and it looks fine and dandy.

  • Ahh good to know - I would have had the frame if it was bigger, real beaut

+1 I've had a nose at it too, there are such nice details on this frame. The recessed brake routing, concave seat stay eyes, good condition chrome and sexy flat brake bridge show that this is a classy number, very nicely finished. And light too. Good luck with the sale andy.

As already said, they do a pretty good job. I know that Tour De Ville when they had the shop (RIP) did some of this a while back with amourtex too, with fairly good result. Not like a really decent wet paint finisher would get, but close enough.

    +1 to that too.
