^ I'm betting nny, fluff, jayloo, elguapo and hoops coming back from the 50 fixed ride.
Just riding through hammersmith doing my art coursework stuff, went past the old ship and there were tones of fixed and singlespeeds.
Also the 50 fixed.

And a girl on a yellow bike wth a white deep v on the back stopped and had a conversation with something in a window on effra parade.
Er, that 'something' was probably my gf, tootoughtodie, I owe you a kick in the nuts, missduh/laydee...

I can understand hoops taking part in the ride but why was elguapo there?

2 girls -fixed - on Sheppy b rd (I was on an old red 3 speed conversion). heading towards the bush. Nice to see others outside enjoying the sunshine. Nice bikes with the right patina - My flatmates gf is after a new bike and the white one is pretty much what i was describing to her earlier today (for my flatmate to build for her).
Saw you dissapear off in to the bus lane - off to browse the shops?

A couple of fixie skidders(one complete with White front spok) just now in Barcelona outside my hotel room....what's Spanish for 'do a skid'?
Way late and all but my Spanish wife says that the verb is derrapar. So 'skid!' would be ¡Derrapa! or DAS: ¡Haz un derrape!
Off to eat my leftover paella now.

no Nhatt's right.
the state of the burrito in this country is laughable. The food in this country is laughable anyway.
I hate the fact that even a moderate bakery in Amsterdam (let says it's a slight step up from Gregg's where they actually bake stuff, and not import them) offer a much nicer and tastier sandwich than even the better places in London, cheaper too at that.
While the rest of the world have cuisine, Britain only have food.

English food is fine. Sure there's a lot of shit but there's plenty of awesome stuff out there too if you're willing to look for it.
Go to a proper market, not just a supermarket and you'll be surprised.

oh ed you silly courgette…
London has some of the best and varied food in Europe
granted, the italians make great italian food but any other cuisine - hopeless
you can eat fantastic Lebanese, Thai, Ethiopian, Morrocan, Japanese, West Indian etc all in a mile radius and great british food as well
If you didn't spend all your lunchtimes in Condor then you'd find that out
[tho there is a great sushi place on roseberry avenue 500yards away if you can tear yourself away from the brompton display]

"Elegant"? Moi? Good to chat, and hope your day continues most happily. Good luck with the Salmons - I feel I may have left you with a bit of an engineering challenge but, as they'd been given to me by another kind forummer (along with a pair with full fittings) I didn't think I could rightly let these ones sit in the shed any longer.
On reflection, I'm not sure I'm going to devote to much time to learning how to do those G handshake things. What if my teenage kids caught me practising?
Had a merry blast down past Brockwell Park and over Herne Hill - what a jolly crowd of fixed wheelers there was there! Recognised none of them.

Hogwash. Dutch food is practically inedible.

I really enjoy the carnitas burritos at Tortilla (various outlets), Benito's Hat was a OK but a bit meh IMO... There's also a cool little Mexican place on the alley off Goodge Street, a coupla doors down from the Duke of York (or is it the Yorkshire Tavern? I forget)... Good burrito... Nom...
Just now, a veritable gang of fixed bikes (6 or 7 i think) heading past brixton waterlane onto Dulwich road. And a girl on a yellow bike wth a white deep v on the back stopped and had a conversation with something in a window on effra parade. I was just going into my house.
