Did this last year because my uncle wanted to do something after he had hoped to get over an illness; good bunch of people, and some interesting pros as guides. You get to Paris for the Tour's arrival (bumped into Superted and co last year).
(a travelodge, a novotel and a nice French country hotel are your reward each evening)
