My silly little brother got himself a puncture whilst 14 miles away, he didn't take his kit or a spare tube with him, and all this on the day after he lost his wallet, cards, money, etc.
Anyway, he called me on his mobile to explain where he was, and that he had a puncture, then got cut off. His phone battery was also dead! Organisation isn't his strong suit.
Later he called on a payphone and during more details he got cut off. I tried to call the payphone back, but it just cut off without even calling.
I have tried calling BT, but it's a saturday and the office is closed. I also don't have a landline so can't call the operator to ask nicely if I could be put through. He's probably started walking on now but can anyone confirm that calling payphones no longer works?
