my bed is v. comfy/ i didn't go on the tweed run so i;ve been reading this thread vicariously

Shall we have a bike picnic in one of the royal parks???

today no- tomorrow, maybe.
have to clear out the basement/ workshop/ bike storage today.
got up at 6, and my training buddy cancelled on me.

because of the swelling numbers on the marathon ride and accounting for people dropping out, the numbers will still exceed that possible to fit into a cafe.

i am proposing that after the ride we go to one of londons lovely parks and have a little picnic. all those in favour register your interest please.

you'll only need to carry a blanket wine and food or snacks we can get on the way to the park. okay its not the full english that would have gone down so well but at least we'll be able to all enjoy each others company and no one be excluded because of cafe sizes. added bonus is the super weather we are enjoying at the moment.

I don't think the weather will be as tomorrow.

count me in for the post-marathon ride picnic. though... i guess that entails dragging my ass out of bed at stupid o'clock tomorrow...

Tweeding today - Keeping up appearances!

Went out for 24 mile ride out on the Claud B, fixed. Just had to wear grey flannel plus two's, brouges, waistcoat. Going to have to make this a Saturday tradition.
